Located in San Vicente (Ourense, Spain) and in operation since 1999, this quarry is recognised for the quality of its extensive reserves, belonging to geological formations of high value for natural slate production.
Samaca 29 – María del Carmen
Colour: Black
Texture: Fine grain, textured, rustic appearance
Degree of fissility: Medium
Located in La Baña (León, Spain), this quarry is operated as an open-pit site. The deposit belongs to Upper Ordovician formations (approx. -455 to -435 million years), characterised by high-quality slates formed under geological conditions that favour excellent fissility and durability.
Samaca 33 – Os Foyos

Texture: Fine grain, striated

Located in O Alto da Cova at approximately 1,700 m altitude, this quarry is operated as an open-pit site. It belongs to the Rozadais formation of the Upper Ordovician (approx. -455 to -435 million years).

Located in the area of Lardeira (the highest village in Galicia), within the municipality of Carballeda de Valdeorras (Ourense, Spain), this quarry is operated as an open-pit site. It belongs to the Rozadais formation of the Upper Ordovician (-455 to -435 million years).

Located in the locality of Ultimoreo (La Baña), within the municipality of Encinedo, province of León (Spain), this quarry is operated as an open-pit site. It belongs to the Rozadais formation of the Upper Ordovician (-455 to -435 million years).
