DEPOITS
(Queivane III-Lavandeira)
Located in Casaio (Valborraz River), Carballeda de Valdeorras, Ourense. It is an open- pit mine. Luarca Slate Formation, Middle Ordovician (-470 a – 455 Ma)
- Color: black or dark grey.
- Texture: thin to very thin grain.
- Very high degree of fissility and very smooth and homogeneous surfaces.
María del Carmen (Cebas)
Located in Cebas (La Baña), in the municipality of Encinedo, León. It is an open- pit mine. Rozadais Formation, Late Ordovician (-455 a – 435 Ma).
- Color: bluish.
- Texture: very thin grain, fluted.
- Very high degree of fissility.
Os Foios
Located in the municipality of Carballeda de Valdeorras, Ourense. It is located in O Alto da Cova, at an altitude of around 1.700m and its activity is carried out in an open- pit mine. It is a Rozadais Formation, Late Ordovician (-455 a – 435 Ma).
- Color: bluish.
- Texture: very thin grain, fluted.
- Very high degree of fissility.
Os Foios
Also located in the municipality of Carballeda de Valdeorras, Ourense. It is located in O Alto da Cova, at an altituded of around 1.700m and its activity is carried out in an open- pit mine. It is a Rozadais Formation, Late Ordovician (-455 a – 435 Ma).

Vianzola
Located in the area of Lardeira (the highest village of Galicia), it belongs to the municipality of Carballeda de Valdeorras, Ourense. It is an open- pit mine. It is a Rozadais Formation, Late Ordovician (-455 a – 435 Ma).

María del Carmen (Ultimoreo)
Located in Ultimoreo (La Baña), in the municipality of Encinedo, province of León. It is an open- pit mine. It is a Rozadais Formation, Late Ordovician (-455 a – 435 Ma).

Juanita
Located in the area of Los Molinos, in the village of Lardeira, it belongs to the municipality of Carballeda de Valdeorras, Ourense. It is an open- pit mine. It is a Casaio Formation, Late Ordovician (-455 a – 435 Ma).

Vianzola
Located in the area of Lardeira, it belongs to the municipality of Carballeda de Valdeorras, Ourense. It is an open- pit mine. It is a Rozadais Formation, Late Ordovician (-455 a – 435 Ma).

- Texture: medium grain, textured and with a rustic appearance.
- Medium degree fissility.
Cabeludas
Located at km 115 of Castelo do Piaui, in Brazil. It is an open- pit mine. Morphologically it presents a horizontal structure of sedimentary origin. It is ornamental rock, sandstone (quartzite).
- Color: white, black, yellow and multicolor.
- Rough texture and totally non-slip.
- Uses: can be used in exteriors and interiors, in facades and floors.
- Minimum sizes from 10x10x1.5 to 210x115x6.
