Trevinca quarry (Ourense)
SAMACA 47 comes from the Rozadais site (Ourense, Spain), in operation since 1985 and recognised for the quality of its reserves and its long-standing experience in the extraction of natural slate.
This is a black slate with a smooth surface, composed of fine laminated layers and non-oxidising metallic inclusions. It stands out for its regularity and a very high degree of fissility, allowing precise cutting and excellent adaptability across different applications.

Grades and Selections
PRIME
High-quality selection with strict criteria in terms of tolerances, thickness, and flatness. It offers excellent regularity and facilitates installation on site, ensuring a reliable result in full compliance with current standards.
STD
Production compliant with current standards, with more flexible selection criteria than Premium grade. It may present greater variability, so careful sorting on site is recommended to ensure optimal installation.
NATUR
Selection that optimises the natural yield of the slate, offering a cost-effective solution without compromising compliance with applicable standards. It may present greater variability in its characteristics, allowing adaptation to different installation styles.
HEAVY
Slate with greater thickness and weight, providing increased presence and robustness on the roof. Suitable for specific applications or particular construction requirements.
